Your male staff are ageing. Your female staff are “losing it”.

⚠️ 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗙𝗙 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗜𝗡𝗚.
𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗙𝗙 𝗔𝗥𝗘 “𝗟𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗧.”

And if that sounds harsh, check your last round of feedback.

I saw a Daily Mail headline posted by Tova Leigh tearing into a woman’s appearance.
“Unrecognisable.”
“Let herself go.”

The man beside her?
“Ageing well.”
And I thought -

This plays out in offices every day.

Just in softer words:
“She’s lost her spark.”
“She’s not the same.”

That same morning, I left the house in one of my casual blazers no makeup, not polished.

And I caught myself thinking:

Would I still be taken seriously like this?

That’s the difference.

Men are allowed to show up.
Women have to show up well.

Recently, a client came to me feeling unsure.
A female employee had returned from leave.
She was performing but something felt off.

They weren’t being harsh.
They just didn’t have the structure to lead her fairly.

And that’s the real issue:
↳ No return-to-work plan
↳ No re-onboarding
↳ No clarity - just guesswork

I care because I’ve lived it.

I was pushed out after a miscarriage because assumptions replaced support.

I don’t post to shame managers.

I post because I’ve built a career helping them lead better.

People come to me when they’re not sure what’s fair, or lawful, or even true.

And I work out what’s bias, what’s business, and how to protect both.

As your all-inclusive HR department for less than minimum wage, I don’t just advise.
I calculate. I translate. I fix.

If something feels “off” with a female employee,
what’s guiding your response: instinct or structure?

I would love to have a confidential chat to determine if its truly an underperformance issue
